My internship was a formative and meaningful experience. I had the opportunity to conduct needs-based research, design justice-oriented interventions, and strengthen my skills in cross-cultural communication and remote collaboration.
The experience challenged me to think critically about global education systems and deepened my understanding of how education, social justice, and historical legacies intersect. With supportive mentorship and room for independent work, Experience Liberia, through its Volunteer Liberia, offered a valuable platform for growth in both research and professional skills.
